Winterland MK has signed up Buckinghamshire’s largest independent ambulance service, the Acute Ambulance & Medical Services (A.A.M.S) which supports the NHS Ambulance Trust in Bucks and Oxon.  The A.A.M.S has become another key partner of Winterland MK sponsoring the cashless tappit cards which will be available to visitors and redeemable against all the fun fair rides. As part of the sponsorship package A.A.M.S’s details will feature on the back of all the tappit cards issued to the thousands of visitors expected at Winterland MK. Tappit cards are a convenient cashless system which can be topped up at any one of the on-site kiosks and used on all the fun fair attractions.

The A.A.M.S will be present throughout the six weeks Winterland is open to the public and will be on stand-by to offer any emergency assistance if it’s required. Kieren Gibson, AAMS Director stated “We are thrilled to be providing medical cover for the inaugural Winterland MK, and are looking forward to strengthening our ties with the local community”

Plus, every Winterland MK visitor who carries a Tappit cashless card will receive a FREE mini medical check-up whilst at Winterland MK if they so choose.  So, if you fancy getting your blood pressure taken, or want to check your blood sugar levels, you know where to come – just make sure you haven’t had too many mulled ciders or been on too many thrill rides before you do though!  Leave that until later would be our advice.
